New Construction and Elementary Attendance Areas

In recognition of the need to maintain quality in our educational programs and reasonable class size for instruction and in light of the continued growth of student enrollment in the district, the Board of School Directors directs that the following actions take place subsequent to the relief that will be provided by the construction and occupation of the new Upper Elementary 5-6 facility that is planned:

Any new housing areas yet un-built and/or un-occupied are subject to assignment to an elementary attendance area irrespective of the current attendance area boundaries.

The following areas of Richland Township, having met the above stated definition, are hereby assigned to the Richland Elementary School attendance area:

The following areas of Pine Township, having met the above stated definition, are hereby assigned to the Richland Elementary School attendance area:

Should any individuals who currently reside in the district and purchase property in any of these designated areas, they shall be permitted, should they choose, to attend the school currently attended prior to this announcement of a new attendance assignment. These individuals will be responsible for providing their own transportation to school.
