The PRHS PTO is a volunteer organization of parents whose purpose is to support the PRHS students, staff, parents, and guardians. The PTO serves as a tool to enhance students’ educational experience at the high school by providing a communications network and supplying funding and volunteers to support programs and activities that benefit the students of the high school. See how the PTO supports PRHS.
The PTO holds monthly meetings throughout the year with invited guest-speakers who share information regarding academics and activities at the high school and community.
All parents and/or guardians, staff, and administrators of high school students at Pine-Richland High School can be members of the PRHS PTO. There is a link for the PRHS PTO on the PRHS website under “Site Shortcuts” along the lower right-hand side.
The PRHS PTO has several fundraisers and events throughout the year for those who would like to stay involved at the high school. Some of these fundraisers and events include Student Directory sales during the Open House, Picture Day, Blood Drive (which generates scholarship money based on units of blood collected), Prom Ticket Sales, and Staff Appreciation Luncheon. The PTO has also funded a new PTO-sponsored scholarship, the first of which was awarded Spring 2015 spring to a graduating senior.
Please find our meeting schedule listed on the PRHS Calendar and on the Meeting Dates tab on the left. We look forward to a new year and hope you can join us during this new school year!
