The Pine-Richland Board of School Directors voted unanimously on Tues., May 24 to NOT opt-in to Act 72.

Background

Exclusion applications were mailed in October and December. No action was required of homeowners who previously received exemption approval under Act 50.

Homeowners who did not respond by March 1, 2005, are ineligible for property tax relief, should funding be available. Another opportunity to apply will open next year.
