PRHS Students Pitch Marketing Plan
Pine-Richland High School students took a business trip to the North Shore of Pittsburgh on May 17, 2008.
Students from the PRHS International Business Class, under the direction of Teacher Joseph Domagala and CISCO Client Director Ken Trombetta, visited CISCO Systems.
That’s where they presented their international marketing plan that they created in class to CISCO executives in London. Students created a marketing plan for a product new to the European marketplace, Under Armour. Under Armour is performance apparel engineered to keep athletes cool, dry and light throughout the course of a game, practice or workout.
Students were able to utilize a relatively new technology known as telepresence to interact and see the executives live.
“This was an excellent opportunity for students to participate in project-based learning and experience the real-world business environment to gain constructive criticism and positive feedback from business executives,” Domagala said.
CISCO is the leading supplier of networking equipment and network management for the Internet.
