Elementary School Principal

The Pine-Richland School District is seeking applicants for the position of Elementary School Principal for Wexford Elementary School, a Grade K-3 building with approximately 430 students. Media Services Technician

PRSD is searching for applicants for a Media Services Technician. This is a full-time, school-year position will be responsible for providing technical support for district’s television studio and assisting in management of auditorium facilities and equipment for evening/after-school events. PA-Educator’s database of applicants serves as the district’s primary resource for professional applications. If you are interested in applying for professional opportunities within the Pine-Richland School District, you must register on line and submit your application through PA-Educator. Additional information and directions for registering and submitting an application can be found on the PA-Educator website at www.pa-educator.net.

The Pine-Richland School District no longer accepts paper applications for professional positions.   • Strong academic preparation with a high grade point average (3.0 overall, on a 4.0 scale, preferred

  • Aggressive course work, particularly in specialty area; also courses in special education and topics related to technology

  • Pennsylvania Level I teaching certification (multiple areas of certification are preferred)

  • Demonstrated expertise in technology

  • Expressed willingness to coach, sponsor or supervise student activities

Vacancies for support staff (Secretary, Para-Educator, Library Assistant, Playground Assistant, Custodian) are posted first internally; and, then as needed, advertised on our website www.pinerichland.org and PRTV (Channel 50 in the Armstrong Cable area). Positions may also be advertised in local newspapers and through job recruitment services from time to time, as needed.

Student transportation is provided by Monark Student Transportation Corp.

How do I apply for a position with the Pine-Richland School District?

When a vacancy becomes available, we first establish position criteria. All positions are first posted internally. The substitute list is also reviewed for qualified candidates. The district uses PA-Educator as the application resource for professional positions.

Should I send a complete application packet?

Keep your PA-Educator application information up to date. Please do not send an application packet. As a courtesy, we do accept resumes from community residents and graduates.

As needed, the district may advertise in local newspapers for a specific position and then application packets are accepted until that position is filled.

Applications for support positions are accepted year-round. Application forms may be downloaded and printed from this website.

What happens when I send a resume or application packet to Pine-Richland?

Unsolicited resumes and applications are directed to the Employee Relations office. All resumes received by Employee Relations are date-stamped upon receipt and filed by certification or interest area. Random resumes/packets are filed for 6 months. Due to the volume of mail received, we are unable to communicate with everyone.

I would like to arrange a field experience or student teaching assignment with Pine-Richland. How can I do this?

Field experiences and student teaching assignments should be coordinated between your School of Education and Pine-Richland. We are unable to respond to individual requests. Please direct your School of Education Dean, or Placement Services Coordinator, to contact 724-625-7773, ext. 6200 for more information. In all cases, we require the requests to be accompanied by a resume and details concerning the field experience expectations and/or student teaching requirements.
