Notes to School
Change in Your Child's Schedule

Remember to use online Eden Notes when there is a change in your child's schedule such as early dismissal, riding a different bus, etc. 

 

Absences:  If your child is sick, you do not need to call the school.  After two days, you may email the teacher for homework.  Please send a signed note explaining the absence upon the student's return.  

 

Volunteer Training
Three Sessions Available
If you are interested in volunteering and have not participated in a Pine-Richland School District training session, three sessions are available at Eden Hall and will be held in the LGAC room. Questions?  Email Brad-Leigh Gaines.

Talent Show Auditions After Labor Day

Due to a conflict with the High School Open House, the PTO Kick Off Meeting will be held on
Wednesday, September 16, at 7 p.m.  Join us in the LGI room across from the library as we greet our new superintendent Dr. Mary Bucci.  (With the exception of this month, meetings are in the morning the third Thursday of the month.)

Night at the Ranch!
4th Grade Camp In Needs Volunteers

The 4th Grade Camp In is being held on September 11-12.  Consider helping out on this fun night for our fourth grade kids!  To stay overnight, independent volunteer status is required.  Assistive volunteers can work many of the activities.  Click here to go to PTO Manager and specify if you are volunteering for activities or spending the night.

 

School Store
Opens September 3
The school store will be open during lunch every Thursday starting September 3!  A wide variety of school supplies are available with most items priced at $1 or less.  Questions?  Email Rusti Null

Pictures & Volunteers Needed!

If you take pictures at EH Events (including the Back-to-School Carnival), email them (.jpg files) to Jen Avnet for inclusion in the 2009-2010 EH Yearbook!  

 

Volunteers:  If you are interested in working on the yearbook, please email Jen Avnet or sign up on PTO Manager.  A planning meeting will be held in September.  More details to come.

Market Day
Orders Due September 17

Please support this is year-round fundraiser for our school.   Great offers in September...check it out!

 

Order online by midnight on September 17 or return the order form sent home with your child this week.  Pick up is on September 23, from 4:15-5:30 p.m. in the Richland cafeteria.  Remember, you can designate your profit to your school of choice.  Questions?  Email Emily Willard.    

 

Help Needed:  Can you help a couple hours per month with pick up or reminder phone calls?  Sign up on PTO Manager.

 

Grade-Level T-Shirts
Does Your Child Need a Shirt?
If you have a fourth grader or your fifth or sixth grader is new to Pine-Richland, please email Emily Willard if you did not receive a grade-level t-shirt.  This shirt is worn at many events during their years at Eden Hall.

 

Spiritwear Sale
Need Some Ram's Gear?  Orders Due September 10.
Eden Hall does not hold a Spiritwear sale; however, the elementary schools and middle school have sales from which you may purchase items.  Click here for the catalog for the sale being held at Richland, Wexford, and the Middle School.  If you wish to order, please click here for the order forms and contact information.  The Hance sale will be held in October.

Contest Begins Next Month!
Box Tops Classroom contest begins next month, so keep collecting your Box Tops so your child's classroom can win a party.
