Attention 6th Grade Parents with Student Athletes
Sports
Physical Information
Please
read thoroughly as there are changes to this process!
Sports
physicals will be held at the stadium on Tuesday, June 16. Click here for details
including scheduled times.
We are not
collecting the packets in the schools. You are to bring the completed
packet the day of the physical. To maintain an efficient
process for everyone, there is a scheduled time for each sport. It is very important
that athletes come at their scheduled time.*
This will be the only
physical provided at the school for the year.
Private physician physicals need to be done after
July 6, 2009. Note
that is a change from the earlier date. Those physical packets
need to be turned into the athletic office by August 12 for fall
sports.
*If you have children who are members of different sporting
teams, please pick one physical time to attend.
Before calling the Athletic Office with questions,
please read all information on the website thoroughly. We
appreciate your cooperation.

summer, you will be able to go to the school website to make the change.

PTO Co-President Letter
As we end the
first year at Eden Hall, the PTO Board would like to thank all
parents for their support, friendship, time, and talents they
gave to Eden Hall in forming this new school family. I
would like to especially thank my fellow PTO Board members that have
been serving for the last two years -- Lynn Hein, Jodi Mann, Terry
Pomerleau, and Jodi Gill -- for all the
support, fun memories, and friendship that we formed during this
time. It is amazing how far the PTO has come from that
first meeting in April 2007. I would like to especially
thank Mr.
Cooper, Mrs. Welter, Mrs. Schuster, Mrs. Spakauskas, Mrs. Brandt,
teachers, and staff at Eden Hall for supporting
every activity the PTO sponsored this year. Without their
support and dedication to our students, our PTO would not have
been a success.
As we say goodbye to old board members, we welcome our New PTO Board:
Co-Presidents Emily Willard and Robin Treece,
Vice-President Mike Flynn, Assistant Treasurer Jodi Mann,
and Secretary Mary Folmer. We wish them
luck and success for the next school year. Parents, please continue
to support and volunteer for the events at Eden Hall as our new
school family continues to grow stronger.
Have a safe and fun summer!
Barbara Young,
Co-President

great first-time event. Also, we would like to thank our sponsor,

fantastic!

Eden Hall
PTO Summer Reading Program
Relax at the
beach, by the pool, or in your backyard with a good book this
summer! Students who choose to read at least one book and
do a poster or project about it will be invited to attend a
breakfast in the fall when we return to school. As part of
the poster, students must attach a summary of the story and why
they liked or disliked the book. Posters will be displayed
in the hallways during the first few weeks of school.
The Recommended Reading Lists* will be available in
next week's General Reminder email being delivered on June 12.
*The
Recommended Reading List that is part of the Eden Hall PTO Summer
Reading Program is not specifically endorsed by Pine-Richland
School District. We encourage you to screen these
books, just as you would any others, to ensure that their
content reflects your family values. Encouraging summer
reading is our goal.
