Seasons of
Celebration
What has become a
proud PR tradition, the students will celebrate the seasons and
learn about many cultures. Please click here for a letter
from the District's Principals.
Hat & Mitten Drive: As part of the Seasons of Celebration,
Hance Elementary's Giving Tree theme will be a "Hat
& Mitten" drive. We will collect these items from
November 24-January 9. The next time you're out, pick up
some hats and mittens to add to our Giving Tree to help
others during this holiday season.

Math Series Parent Information Meeting
Celebrating
Math at Home
Join us for a parent
meeting on December 8 from 6:30-7:45 p.m. at Eden Hall's Community
Room. This meeting is for all parents with students in grades
K-6 to introduce our new math series and the
tools available for you to help your child. So we can
plan accordingly, please click here to RSVP by
December 5.

Picture Re-Take Day
Picture re-take day
is scheduled for Wednesday, December 3. For
a picture re-take, please return the original pictures with
your child on that day. If your child didn't get a
picture taken or was absent that day, order forms are available in
the office and must be completed prior to the picture re-take
day. Please contact the school office with questions.

As you know, the Teacher Excellence Center
provided an outstanding program to recognize teachers. Unfortunately, the
program is no longer in operation. With that in mind,
Pine-Richland is encouraging parents to nominate teachers for
the PA

Holiday Shop Details!
Holiday Shop is being
held December 4-5. Click here to access the
classroom shopping schedule. You're welcome to come to school
and shop with your child during his/her shopping time. A
letter and envelope will come home with your child prior to
Thanksgiving break. This information will provide details
about Holiday Shop and a convenient way for you to make a shopping
list with your child. If you are sending a check with your
child, please make it payable to the Hance PTO.

Market Day
Thank you to everyone
who supported the November sale. It was our highest profit level to date!
Now it's time to
start thinking about the holidays. Market Day can help with
your holiday baking with delicious cookie dough. All cookies
are pre-portioned for easy baking. Go to the Market
Day website and place
your order. Plus, check out all the other delicious Market
Day food options. Use Hance code 6855. Online orders

Our next Fantastic Fun Friday
is December 5! It's Holiday/Winter Day! Be creative;
wear mittens, scarves, cozy boots, or clothes related to the
holiday that you celebrate during the winter! Parents,
keep in mind the District's dress policy.
And...don't forget to
send $0.25 for popcorn during lunch. Remember, popcorn must
remain in the cafeteria. For those with allergies, fruit
snacks are also available.

School District Publishes Annual Report for 2008
PRHS Students to Host Empty Bowls Sale for Good
Cause
Pine-Richland High School students will host an "Empty
Bowls" sale on Saturday, November 22, 2008 from 11 a.m. - 2
p.m. in the PRHS Café/Atrium, 700 Warrendale Rd. in Gibsonia.
Proceeds will benefit the Lighthouse Foundation. Click here for details.
Choral Students to Offer Santa Letters
The holidays will soon be here and the Pine-Richland
High School Choral students are offering a special treat for
children in our community! For a donation of $5, a student
will prepare a personalized "Letter from Santa" for a

Class of 2011 Selling Christmas Trees
The PRHS Class of 2011 will be selling Christmas trees
on Saturday, December 6, from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. and Saturday,
