November
12 & 13
Parent Teacher Conferences are being held on November
12 and 13. Forms were due October 21. If you haven't
returned yours, please do so immediately.

Conference even more valuable for you and your child.
School
Schedule: November 12 will be a half day
for students. Dismissal will be
at 12:30 p.m., and lunch will not be served. There is no school on November 13.
Kindergarten
Schedule: On November 12, AM Kindergarten
will dismiss at its regular time of 12 p.m., and there will be no
PM Kindergarten. There is no school on November 13.

Wexford
Elementary is teaming up with KDKA and The Greater Pittsburgh
Community Food Bank to raise money for The Turkey Fund.
Our Goal: To
feed one hungry family for every Wexford family...that's 343
families!
Your child's reading can positively impact the lives
of our neighbors this Thanksgiving! We look
forward to every child's participation as we reach for our

Halloween
Parade & Parties
October 30
Click here for an important letter from Mr.
Walsh with details about the parade,
parties, costume guidelines, and the visitor process. Please
note the following:
In accordance with the District's Visitor Registration
Procedures, only
parents that have pre-registered will be permitted to attend
classroom parties (policy #907). After
the parade, please do not proceed to individual classrooms unless
prior arrangements have been made with either the teacher or party
Mom/Dad.
For the Party Volunteers, tables will be set up in the
lobby to sign-in and receive your pre-made name tag. Please make sure your name tag is visible to faculty
and staff at all times. Sign out will be in the individual
classrooms.

for pick-up in the main entrance of the school on:

Important Pick-Up Details
- These
gift cards are same as cash; therefore, we are requiring
that parents sign for their order after
confirming it is correct.
- If another
parent/adult is picking up your order, please click here for
the required Note
of Authorization to complete and give to the
person that is picking up your order. Please Do Not send your Note of
Authorization to the school office or through the
teachers.
- Photo ID will be required
from everyone picking up an order.

during the fundraiser pick-up.

Appreciation Event
November 17
To show our thanks
to the staff and all they do for our children, we will host a Staff
Appreciation Event on Tuesday, November 17.
Can you donate
a great homemade specialty dessert? Specialties for Special
Ts will be set up in the Teacher's Lounge for the staff
to enjoy homemade desserts and hot beverages. Click here to

Got Candy?
November 2-11
Too Much Halloween Candy?
Wexford Elementary
Outreach has a solution for too much Halloween
candy! Send any candy (with the exception
of Halloween-specific candies such as pumpkins,
decorations, etc.) to school from November 2
through November 11 to be donated to the North Hills Community Outreach Center. Donation bins will
be located near the bus drop-off doors and in the main lobby
