KEYSTONE EXAMS
CALL TO ACTION UPDATE
August 18, 2009

As you know the Pine-Richland School Board has passed a resolution opposing the Keystone Exams. The board continues to oppose them.

Contacting your legislators is still an important step to take - as the budget is still far from being resolved, and the resolution of this issue is very much a part of the budget.

As a taxpayer, you may weigh in your opinion directly during the 30-day period of public opinion, which is in process now. It is not too late to make a difference. Please consider sending your personal comments to the Independent Regulatory Review Commission (IRRC) at irrc@irrc.state.pa.us and encouraging others in your school community and friends across the state to do the same. Prompt action is needed because the public comment period ends on September 10.
