Pittsburgh Penguin's Mascot Visits School

Two special guests made a special appearance at Richland Elementary School on Monday, March 5, 2007 in the school library.   

Parent Tammi Grumski visited Teacher Lauren Aiello’s first grade class to read a book about how the Pittsburgh Penguin made his home in Pittsburgh.  Along with her, Pittsburgh Penguins mascot “Iceberg” joined her when she read to children. 

Pine-Richland School District is celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday with various activities through out the district during the month of March.
