Teachers & Administrators Get
Student Council sold chances to throw pies in the face of administrators and teachers at Pine-Richland Middle School. Students threw pies on Thursday, March 22, 2007 and during a dance on Friday, March 23, 2007.
Teacher Eric Brown teamed up with Teacher JP Prager to raise money for the Braddock Carnegie Library. Brown says he chose the library, because he teaches his students a unit on General Braddock. Braddock Carnegie Library houses the Braddock's Field Historical Society and has been operating on limited funding. Middle School Cafeteria Manager Fran Leson and General Manager Cherry Cerminara, of the Sodexho Food Service Department, joined the “Pie” benefit for the Braddock Carnegie Library. Fran & Cherry created the whipped cream pies, complete with a cherry on top. The supplies to create the pies are donated by Sodexho.
