Pittsburgh 250 is helping young people become more knowledgeable of Pittsburgh with the ultimate goal of keeping young people in Pittsburgh.
In 2008, Pittsburgh will celebrate its 250th anniversary. Pittsburgh 250 is a celebration of the region's past, present, and vision for the future.
Superintendent Dr.James C. Manley had the chance to meet one of the many business professionals supporting Pittsburgh 250, Kim Tillotson Fleming, president of Hefren Tillotson, Inc.
Fleming is a parent and a community member of the Pine-Richland School District.

Goals

To showcase how the region changed the world, and how it continues to be a great place to live, work, and visit.
