PRHS Gears Up for the 2008 Prom: “Caribbean Nights”

Pine-Richland School High School (PRHS) is gearing up for “Caribbean Nights,” as it prepares for its 2007-2008 Junior/Senior Prom & After Prom on Friday, May 9, 2008 . Prom begins at 7 p.m. and runs through midnight at Heinz Field. Following the prom, students will participate in an after-prom, which runs from midnight through 4 a.m.

Tickets for the prom will be sold Tuesday, April 8 through Friday, April 11, 2008 during all lunch periods at PRHS. The cost is $65 per guest and includes dinner, dancing and a wide variety of entertainment. Students will choose their tables at time of purchase.

Students must arrive to the prom via limousine or chartered bus. Cost for the bus is $30 and must be paid for when purchasing tickets.

All rules and regulations and the PRSD Discipline Code must be adhered to throughout the evening.

Organizers are looking for parents to chaperone the after-prom from midnight to 4 a.m. If you are a parent of a Pine-Richland student and would like to chaperone, please contact prom sponsors Ashlyn Brill at abrill@pinerichland.org and Tom Joyce at tjoyce@pinerichland.org or Activities Coordinator Marty Trombetta at mtrombetta@pinerichland.org.

The Prom Walk, which is sponsored by the freshman class, starts at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, May 9, 2008 in the PRHS Auditorium. Participants should arrive no later than 5:15 p.m. Admission is $3 for adults, friends and admirers.
