PR Senior Scout Earns Gold Award

Pine-Richland High School senior Sarah Clouse earned the Gold Award, the highest honor a female scout can achieve in the Girl Scouts. To earn the honor, she organized the Miles for Meals 5K run in North Park April 20, 2008. Each participant donated non-perishable goods to the North Hills Community Outreach Center. Clouse is a member of Troop 363. Only about 5 percent of the eligible registered girl scouts in grades 10-12 nationwide earn the achievement.
