Pine-Richland AFS International Days

Get to know the world better by hosting an international exchange student!
The Pine-Richland High School Global Relations Club is seeking families to host AFS international exchange students for two nights during our annual AFS International Days festivities.  The exchange students currently are enrolled in school districts throughout western PA.  They will arrive on Wednesday evening, February 8, 2017 and stay through the close of school on Friday, February 10.
They look forward to staying with—and getting to know—Pine-Richland families, attending classes at the high school, making presentations at the high school and the middle school, and participating in Global Relations Club activities.  This is a unique opportunity for you to experience hosting an international exchange student without having to make a long-term commitment—and for the students to experience another slice of American life.
Host families must live in the Pine-Richland School District and meet AFS screening requirements, including the Commonwealth of PA mandated clearances for volunteers.  Host siblings do not have to attend the High School.  For more information about hosting during Pine Richland AFS International Days, please contact Mr. Matt Roberts by November 11, 2016 via email at  .
