PROM NEWS: Yesterday, in homeroom, all students should have been informed that voting for this year’s Prom theme is open. All students can access the ballot via their email accounts. The ballots are open until 3:00 p.m. today. Be sure to cast your vote for this year’s theme for Prom 2017 before time runs out.

LIBRARY NEWS: Starting next Tuesday students coming to the library for lunch will need to sign up in the morning before homeroom or during a morning study hall. See Mr. Pollock for the sign-up sheet. Students that do not sign up in the morning will need to go to the cafeteria. Seating is limited and is first-come-first-served, so sign up early.

RAMMYS: The Rammys, Pine-Richland School District's annual film and video festival, is now accepting submissions. All students K through 12, staff, alumni and PRSD residents should submit their digital art. Your deadline is March 20th. For a complete list of rules and regulations, go to the web address.

STUDENT DRIVERS: This is a reminder that parking permit tags are to be displayed at all times from the rear view mirror while on campus.

BLOOD DRIVE: The blood drive will take place on Wednesday, February 22nd from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Green Gym. By rolling up your sleeve, you can donate much needed blood to brighten a life and at the same time earn valuable scholarship dollars for PR High School seniors. All donors will receive a Central Blood Bank t-shirt to add to their collection.

SPRING MUSICAL: PRHS is proud to present this year’s Spring Musical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Ticket sales will open tomorrow, February 18th. The show dates are as follows: Thursday, March 9th at 4:00 p.m. is the complimentary senior citizen performance. Friday, March 10th at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 11th at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 17th at 7:30 p.m. and the final performances on Saturday, March 18th at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

RAM SPORTS:

TRACK & FIELD: All potential athletes interested in participating in spring track & field must meet two requirements: One, have a current physical on file with the athletic office before February 23rd. Two, attend a pre-season meeting on Thursday, February 23rd in the Steam LGI room after school. If you have any questions, please see coaches Devinney, Dugger, Florijan or Seybert.

GYMNASTICS: Today and tomorrow, the Varsity team will compete in the WPIAL Championships. The meet will be held at Moon Area High School.

BOY’S BASKETBALL: Today the Varsity and JV teams will scrimmage Bishop Canevin. The scrimmage will start at 3:30 p.m. and will be played at Bishop Canevin High School. In other basketball news, the boys are the number one seed in the WPIAL Championship. They will face the winner of the Canon McMillan and North Allegheny game.

GIRL’S BASKETBALL: The Lady Rams are also the number one seed in the WPIAL Championships. They will face the winner of the Bethel Park and Penn Trafford game.

SWIMMING AND DIVING: Tomorrow night the Varsity team will compete in the Varsity Invitational. The meet will be held at North Allegheny Senior High School, starting at 6:00 p.m.

ICE HOCKEY: On Monday night, the Varsity team will face North Allegheny at home. The puck drops at 7:00 p.m. at the Baierl Ice Complex.
