Vision Pine-Richland School District will be a recognized leader in education providing a customized learning environment to a growing and changing community. Beliefs Education is a springboard for life, and as such all students should be given an opportunity to explore and grow. Citizenship is a responsibility as well as a right and will build within its students a solid foundation that will prepare them to be fully functioning and well informed United States citizens. PR will be the pre-eminent school district where educators and staff will want to work as a result of support for professional growth, participation in decision-making, and respect for the balance of roles between teacher, student, parent and administrator. PR acknowledges its place in the global community and will work to give students access to the world's experts through investing resources in connectivity technology and being cognizant of our impact on the global environment. Opportunities for personal growth reside in and out of the classroom and can be found on the stage, working in the community in a service project and on the fields of play. Parents and other community members must feel welcome in our schools as primary partners in the education of their children. PR recognizes the negative impact of substance abuse and will support and promote efforts by students and staff to lead healthy lifestyles. PR will look to instill in all of its students the foundation to lead a life of integrity by focusing on the universal values of integrity. The basic need for safety underlies the learning process, so PR will work to protect students at all times. An education infused with an appreciation for the arts provides benefits to students regardless of their life's work. The buildings and grounds must be clean and well maintained to commensurate with the high standards and qualities of the school district. The community will value how we learn and work together to make student achievement our top priority.
