Swimming Program
Both family and individual memberships are available on a per-semester basis and may be purchased any evening the pool is open. For schedule changes, check the Pool Bulletin Board at the pool entrance, contact the Aquatics Center at: (724) 625-4444, ext. 1578. Office Hours are from 7 - 9:45 p.m. Monday through Friday and 5-8 p.m. on Saturdays.

Pool
Schedule and Guidelines
Recreational (Open) Swim
Monday through Thursday, 8:30 p.m. -10 p.m.
Friday, 7-10 p.m.
Saturday, 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Monday - Wednesday - Friday Morning Lap Swim, 6 a.m. -7 a.m.

Morning Adult Lap Swim.
From the second Monday in November until the end of High
School Swim Season, Morning Adult Lap Swim is limited
to 3 lanes.

The High School Pool is closed on Sundays and during times the
schools are closed (holidays/in-service days).
The pool is also closed during home swim meets.

Summer PM Hours
Monday -Friday 5 p.m. –- 8:30 p.m.
• Lap Lanes and Open Swimming is closed during Swim Lessons
• Diving boards are closed Mon-Thurs until 8:30 pm and
Saturday until 6:30 pm for practice
• The deep-end closes on Tuesdays at 8:30 pm for Under-Water
Hockey
• All group reservations, please call the pool at least
two weeks in advance for bookings
• Groups over 20 are subject to private rental fees
• The pool is closed when school is closed and may also
be closed for safety reasons during inclement weather
• Community Open Swimming and Lap Swimming is closed during
swim lessons
Safety is a priority
o Our pool supervisors are trained for emergency situations
o All patrons are expected to follow the supervisor's safety
directions in the event of any emergency
o The pool will be closed during inclement weather
Swim Lessons
Two sessions are offered. Swimming lessons will begin in March
twice a week for four weeks and will be scheduled according
to skill level. A waiting list is available. Call 625-4444,
ext., 1578, to inquire about class openings. Office Hours are from 7 - 9:45 p.m. Monday through Friday and 5-8 p.m. on Saturdays. Do not call the
Athletic Office.
Monday
& Wednesday
Level I Lil' Rams
6 p.m. - 6:35 p.m.
Students, age 3 and up, will gain confidence in the water while
learning basic skills and safety.
Level IV Intermediate
6 p.m. - 6:40 p.m.
Successful completion of previous class. Able to perform well
- freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke. Will introduce sidestroke,
along with lap swimming.
Level V Swimmer
6:45 p.m. - 7:25 p.m.
Successful completion of previous class. Able to perform all
basic strokes well. Will introduce butterfly and strengthen
lap swimming.
Levels VI and VII classes are held concurrently with Level V
classes.
Tuesday & Thursday Evening Classes
Level II Beginner
6:45 p.m. - 7:20 p.m.
Successful completion of previous class, or able to put face
and ears in water without fear. Students will begin to learn
strokes and swimming solo.
Level II/III Transitional Beginner
6 p.m. - 6:40 p.m.
Successful completion of previous class. Adjustment to deep
water. Strokes included in this phase are freestyle, backstroke
and elementary backstroke.
Level III Advanced Beginner
6:45 p.m. - 7:25 p.m.
Successful completion of previous class. Students will swim
the width of the pool Strokes will be refined at this level.
Priority for registration in our Community Recreational Swim
and Swim Lesson Programs is given to residents and employees
of the school district and their dependents.
