Parents We Need Your Help to
Recognize Our Hardworking Teachers

As you know the Teacher Excellence Center provided an outstanding program to recognize our teachers. Unfortunately, the program is no longer in operation.

With that in mind, Pine-Richland is encouraging parents and teachers to nominate teachers for the PA Teacher of the Year program.

By honoring an exemplary member of the profession, we are highlighting the contributions of thousands of dedicated educators. To Participate:

Send a one-page letter describing what qualities this teacher has, which makes him or her qualify for teacher of the year. Please sign the letter and send it to:

Rachel Hathhorn via interoffice mail, by mailing to 702 Warrendale Rd., Gibsonia, PA 15044 or emailing to rhathhorn@pinerichland.org no later than January 1, 2009.

The district will then contact the superintendent, principal and teacher to finish the rest of the application process and mail to the state by Jan. 31, 2008.
