  • District to Welcome New Administrators

    Pine-Richland School District is welcoming two new administrators to the team. On Monday, October 29, 2018, the board approved Mr. Sean Simmons as the district’s director of athletics and Mr. Jacob Minsinger as an assistant principal at the middle school.

  • Join Us for Strategic Planning Town Hall #2

    You are invited to join us from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 29, 2018, or 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. on Friday, November 30, 2018, in the Pine-Richland High School Stadium Spirit Room, 704 Warrendale Rd., Gibsonia for our second Strategic Planning Town Hall Workshop in which we will focus on the short-term action steps under each long-term goal.

  • Review an Update on Universal Screeners

    The STAR 360 universal screener was administered the first few weeks of school for all students in Kindergarten through 6th grade. STAR 360 is an assessment reflecting grade-level domain mastery down to the sub-skill level across reading and mathematics. The assessments are administered three times annually to all K-6 students.

    Senior Jackson English had a rare look into research work involving cancer. He was only 65 applicants from around the country to be accepted into the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center Academy.

  • Seniors Named Semifinalists in Scholar Program

    The National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) named two Pine-Richland High School students among approximately 16,000 Semifinalists in the 64th annual National Merit Scholarship Program.

    You are invited to attend the first Strategic Planning Town Hall Workshop from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. or 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. on October 10, 2018 in the Pine-Richland High School Stadium Spirit Room, 704 Warrendale Rd., Gibsonia. These sessions will be identical in design. We are offering a day and evening session to provide flexibility for attendance.

  • You're Invited to Varsity Wrestling Community Meeting

    You're invited to a community meeting at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2018. The Pine-Richland Athletic Department will give an overview of the selection and hiring process for Pine-Richland High School Varsity Wrestling coach as well as the qualities the district is looking for in a head varsity coach, who will lead the program.

    Pine-Richland School District will be back in session on Thursday, August 23, 2018. Home Access will open on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at 4:30 p.m. for parents to view bus information, homeroom/classroom teacher information and high school and middle school schedules.

    Pine-Richland School District (PRSD) is welcoming an assistant principal to Pine-Richland High School. The Pine-Richland School Board approved the appointment of Mr. Robert Puskas at a combined board meeting that was held on July 16, 2018.
