PR Boys Basketball Team Earns WPIAL & State Runner-Up Titles
Congratulations to the Pine-Richland High School Varsity Boys Basketball Team  as they earned the 2017 PIAA 6A Boys Basketball Runner-Up! The team lost to Reading 64-60 as they played a Giant Center in Hershey. Read more in a recap. The PR Rams earned a back-to-back WPIAL Championships. The team earned the first WPIAL Class 6A boys title on March 5, 2017 with a 72-61 victory over No. 7 Butler at the University of Pittsburgh Petersen Events Center. The team earned the Class AAAA title one year ago.   
 
Wrestler Competes in PIAAs
Senior Hunter Baxter placed 2nd in the WPIAL and qualified for PIAA States. Wrestlers competed in the WPIAL Championship matches. To read more, click here.  
 
Swimmer Competes in PIAAs
Senior swimmer Ryan Schonbachler earned a medal for seventh place in the 200 freestyle and earned a WPIAL first-place gold medal in 500 freestyle. He will compete at states. Read more...

Divers Qualify for PIAAs
Pine-Richland Diver Austin Shaw and Maddie Huitt will compete in the PIAA State Championships on March  26, 201*7 at Bucknell University. Austin placed third at WPIALs on Feb. 25, 2017 and Maddie placed fourth. Mallory Charles placed sixth at WPIALs. Lady Rams Earn Play in WPIAL Quarterfinals
Congratulations to the Pine-Richland Lady Rams Basketball Team who played in the WPIAL quarterfinals. Bethel Park took the win 52-44 on Feb. 24, 2017. Read the recap in the Post-Gazette article and the Tribune Review.
 
Competitive Team Earns Seventh Place Nationally
The Pine-Richland High School Competitive Cheer Team placed seventh in the nation in the Small Varsity D1 Division and ninth in the Medium Game-Day Division at the United Cheerleading Association’s National High School Cheerleading Championships on February 11-12, 2017 in Orlando. The team placed second at the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association Competition on Jan. 21, 2017 in Hershey, Pa.
