  • Students Educate Peers in Mead Hall Celebration

    Students in Teacher Jennifer Fink’s Honors English 12 class celebrated Mead Hall Day on Oct. 12, 2019. “The students study the Anglo-Saxon unit,” explained Ms. Fink. “During this unit, we learned the importance of the mead hall as the community center where the thanes (important warriors) and the king met for important meetings, feasts, and celebrations.”

  • Join Us for Track & Field Meeting

    You're invited to a community meeting at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday, November 13, 2019. The Pine-Richland Athletic Department will give an overview of the selection and hiring process for Pine-Richland High School Varsity Track & Field coach as well as the qualities the district is looking for in a head varsity coach, who will lead the program.

  • 2016 Graduate Earns Fulbright

    The U.S. Department of State and the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board awarded 2016 Pine-Richland High School graduate Emma Kapoor, who graduated from American University in 2019, with the Fulbright U.S. Student Program award to Spain. Through the Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship, Ms. Kapoor has the opportunity to teach English at IES Arquitecto Ventura Rodriguez.

  • Learn More about Honors Anatomy & Physiology

    Pine-Richland High School students have the opportunity to enroll in Honors Human Anatomy & Physiology. The course is designed for college-bound students who want to enter careers that require knowledge of human anatomy and physiology. The course focuses on the structure and function of the major body systems with an emphasis on the interrelationships between these systems.

    We are excited to announce that we are continuing our partnership with Goldstein Test Prep, a top, local SAT/ACT test preparation program. Over the past nine years, Goldstein Test Prep has worked with hundreds of Pine-Richland High School students, counseled families through the testing process, and helped students achieve sizable gains.

  • PRHS Hosts AV Band Festival

    Pine-Richland High School hosted the 35th Annual Allegheny Valley Marching Band Festival on September 18, 2019, at the PRHS Stadium. The festival featured bands from Avonworth, Northgate, Riverview, Fox Chapel, Hampton, Shaler, North Hills, and North Allegheny along with the Pine-Richland High School Marching Band.

  • HS to Open Parking Permit Process

    We are preparing to begin the parking permit application process for the 2019-2020 school year. Pine-Richland High School students will receive an email to their Pine-Richland email account containing a link to the application form. All applications must be completed using the online form and can be completed from any device that has internet access. Seniors will be able to access the Parking Permit application beginning 12:00 A.M. on Monday, July 22, 2019. Juniors will be able to access the Parking Permit application beginning 12:00 A.M. on Monday, July 29, 2019.
