    As part of their partnership with the Pine-Richland School District, Goldstein Test Prep will be offering several SAT and ACT programs in the coming months for Pine-Richland students.

  • Join Us for Tutorial on Scheduling

    In an effort to improve our scheduling process for families, we invite parents to an evening of interactive learning with our Program of Studies. The document will continue to be interactive through the high school website. We are inviting parents/guardians to join us on Monday, January 27 at 6:30 p.m. for a Program of Studies Tutorial, designed specifically for YOU. Computers will be available and we will be sharing how to access the document and highlight its many resources. In order to be prepared with devices for all participants, we ask attendees to respond here to confirm your attendance.

  • Attend the National College Fair

    Not sure where to start your college and career search? Want to know how to schedule your high school classes for a specific career focus and/or to meet college admission requirements? Is it time for you to decide which post-secondary option is right for you? Representatives from over 225 two-year and four-year colleges, nursing schools, business schools and trade schools will participate in the Pittsburgh National College Fair. Officers and various military personnel will also be on hand to discuss the military's enlistment and education programs.   • PRHS Proud to Present "The Addams Family" -- Accepting Playbill Ads

    PRHS will be presenting six performances of the comedy, The Addams Family. The production will open Thurs., Mar. 12, 2020 with a complimentary senior citizens show followed by performances running until Sat., Mar. 21, 2020. The musical boosters� ads committee is inviting community businesses to advertise in the show�s playbill. Additionally, the committee is accepting personal ads to honor musical participants.   • Students Learn about Careers in Pharmacy

    Pine-Richland High School students in the Anatomy, AP Biology, and Organic Chemistry classes got an up-close look at careers in pharmacy on December 17, 2020. This was not your ordinary presentation. The University of Pittsburgh brought the experts who launched an interactive simulation that enabled students to work with a patient. The simulator is known as SimMan. SimMan allows students to experience clinical scenarios.

    PRHS Student Government members collected six busloads of toys on Dec. 6, 2019, 2019. They hosted a collection drive at all of the district schools.

  • HS Schedules Rain Date for Graduation

    In an attempt to accommodate unlimited guests, should there be inclement weather on Friday, June 5th at 7:00 p.m., we will postpone the graduation ceremony to Saturday, June 6th at 10 a.m. If the rain continues through the morning of June 6th, we will not postpone further and will have the ceremony indoors. In addition, should weather forecasts include a high probability of rain continuing into Saturday morning, we will move forward with the ceremony indoors on Friday night.

  • Join Us for PRHS AFJROTC Drill Competition

    Pine-Richland High School Air Force JROTC will be hosting its fourth annual drill competition on Dec. 7, 2019, with a start time of 9:30 a.m. he community is invited to attend. Cadets will have a concession stand in the cafeteria with food and drink. Cadets will host a total of 12 schools from three states.

  • Senior Turns Challenge Into Opportunity

    Pine-Richland High School senior Shelby Petonak took a challenge and turned it into an opportunity to help others. After her mother underwent treatment for breast cancer, she launched an innovative program called Pillows for Patients.

    World-renowned children's book illustrator Fatinha Ramos presented her work to Mr. Riley's art students on October 31, 2019. She urged students to embrace their failures to be creative.

  • Students Earn Math Awards

    More than two dozen students competed in the CalcuSolve Math Competition at Duquesne University on October 18TH. A team made up of juniors and seniors Ethan Chan, Gref Gilmour, Elly Jang, and Catherine Lee placed third in the 11th-12th grade competition under the direction of Teacher Ron Schmiedel.

  • Forensics Earn Awards & Qualify for Int'l Debate

    The Brewer Foundation and New York University are proud to announce the �Top 64� teams for the 19th Annual International Public Policy Forum. This year�s qualifying round involved submissions from more than 150 teams. On Nov. 2, 2019, the PRHS Forensics Team earned three team trophies following a tournament held at Penn State-Behrend.

    The Pine-Richland High School Dance Team competed at the Universal Dance Association (UDA) Home Technique Summer Camp and won many awards.

  • HS to Open Parking Permit Process

    We are preparing to begin the parking permit application process for the 2019-2020 school year. Pine-Richland High School students will receive an email to their Pine-Richland email account containing a link to the application form. All applications must be completed using the online form and can be completed from any device that has internet access. Seniors will be able to access the Parking Permit application beginning 12:00 A.M. on Monday, July 22, 2019. Juniors will be able to access the Parking Permit application beginning 12:00 A.M. on Monday, July 29, 2019.
