    Junior student-athlete Nate Lukez, a member of the Pine-Richland Wrestling Team, committed to the United States Military Academy West Point in May of 2019.

  • 6th Grader Earns State Title

    ixth-grader Vaughn Spencer. He was named the 2019 130lb Freestyle State Champion on May 18, 2019, at Lockhaven, PA. He earned two State Championships in one season. Winning the 130lb Freestyle Tournament qualifies Vaughn to compete at Kid’s Nationals, which will take place June 27 - 29, 2019, in Wisconsin.

  • Athletes Qualify for PIAA Track Competition

    PRHS athletes competed in the WPIAL Track Individual Championships. Several students qualified for PIAAs. Sophomore Danielle Bryant placed 1st in the Girls 300 Hurdles. In the Girls100 Hurdles, she placed 3rd, along with junior Chalondra Clarke, who placed 6th. Danielle & Chalondra along with sophomore Ella Rottinghaus & junior Livie Miller placed 2nd in the girls 4x400 Relay with a new school record.

  • Baseball Looking for Another WPIAL Win

    The Pine-Richland High School Varsity Baseball Team is competing in the WPIAL Semi-Finals at 3:30 p.m. on May 22, 2019. They will take on Bethel Park at Shaler High School at Matulevic Field. The team defeated Norwin 2-1 on May 21, 2019.

  • Girls Lacrosse to Play in Consolation Game

    The PR Girls Lacrosse Team lost on May 20, 2019, in the WPIAL Semi-Final game to Upper St. Clair, 13-7. The Lady Rams will play on Thursday, May 23, 2019, against Mt. Lebanon. Game time is 4:30 p.m. at Robert Morris University for the WPIAL consolation game.

  • Boys Lacrosse to Play in WPIAL Championship

    The PR Boys Lacrosse Team defeated Shady Side Academy on May 20, 2019, night in the WPIAL Semi-Final game, 9-6. They will play Mt. Lebanon on Friday, May 24, 2019. Game time is 8:00 p.m. at Robert Morris University for the WPIAL Championship. Regardless of win or loss, the team will move on to round one of the PIAA State Playoffs the week of May 27, 2019.

  • Boys Volleyball Stopped in Playoffs

    The Pine-Richland Boys Volleyball Team traveled to Norwin High School and recorded a 3-1 victory over the home team Knights. With the victory, the Rams advanced in the WPIAL playoffs tournament and lost to Bethel Park on May 16.

  • Crew Captures Victory on River

    The Pine-Richland Crew team found success on a quick-moving Ohio River on May 5, 2019, at the Groveton Sprints. The Rams women’s varsity 8+ crew captured victory on the 1,500-meter course posting a time of 5:10.5. The win came over a Fox Chapel (5:28.9) crew that defeated the Rams the previous week at Pittsburgh Scholastic Sprints.

  • Volleyball Player on All-American Watch List

    Senior Luke Olson is being named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association Boys High School All-America Watch List. This is the first for boys volleyball at Pine-Richland. He was also named a WPIAL Player of the Week.

    Pine-Richland will take on North Allegheny in girls Lacrosse on Monday, April 8, 2019. The North Allegheny Sports Network is broadcasting the game that starts at 7:30 p.m. at PR Stadium, 704 Warrendale Rd. in Gibsonia, PA.

    Pine-Richland junior wrestlers took top recognition at the Pennsylvania Junior Wrestling Tournament. Sixth-grader Vaughn Spencer earned first place in his weight division and sixth-grader Maclane Miller earned fourth place in his division at the University of Pittsburgh Petersen Events Center on March 16, 2019.
