    1. Use Destiny to find a book on your holiday.
    2. Use Destiny to find a book on the country in which your holiday is celebrated.  Use the table of contents or index to find parts of the book in which you might read information about your holiday.
    3. In the reference section of the library use the following books to help you find information about your holiday:
      • Junior Worldmark Encyclopedia of World Cultures
      • Junior Worldmark Encyclopedia of Foods and Recipes of the World
      • Junior Worldmark Encyclopedia of World Holidays

    On the Internet:

    1. Visit Holiday Traditions Around the World, sponsored by Chicago’s Museum of Science and Industry. Click on the link for your specific country.
    2.  Visit the Holiday Traditions page from the California mall.
    3.  Visit Country Reports’ Christmas Around the World.
    4. Visit Santas.net, Christmas Traditions Around the World.
    5. Find out about the History of Christmas on History.com’s website
    6. Visit the Springfield Library’s Winter Holiday Links webpage.
    7. Use Webpath Express in Destiny to search for a reliable website about your holiday.
      • Type in your holiday name, or your country name with the name of the holiday, i.e., "Christmas in France"
    8. Search Grolier to find an article on your holiday or the country.
