    Teaching Philosophy
"I believe that every individual has a capacity for creativity, whether it be great or small.  My job as a music educator is to uncover the innate musical behaviors and bring them to fruition in each person, while also fostering a sense of community through group music-making.  Music class is a place for singing, dancing, playing, reading, writing, creating, listening and analyzing.  Through these behaviors, each child acquires the necessary skills and confidence to find his or her place in the culture of music and hopefully will use these skills for life in some capacity."
In addition to teaching, Mrs. Campbell is a professional core member and soloist for the Bach Choir of Pittsburgh and occasionally performs with the community theater company, Stage 62.
