InsuranceEach organization using district facilities or sponsoring activities that involve district students will have access to a blanket general liability policy. This policy is offered by the district through its insurance broker. The policy will cover each organization for one year, from July 1 to June 30.
Specific terms of coverage and exclusions from coverage are explained in the various policies, which are available for inspection and review. Groups are free to secure this additional coverage as they deem necessary.
Approved activities include those approved by the district either through a building use permit or a board approved trip where team or club arrangements and fees are paid for by the booster club. Any off-campus activities that do not require board approval are not covered by this general liability policy.
