Free & Reduced Lunches: Compass

    COMPASS is a state-provided system that allows Pennsylvania residents to see whether or not they qualify for human and health services. 

    This Web site is a way to apply for free or reduced-price school meals through the National School Lunch Program and the School Breakfast Program. If you apply for free or reduce price school meals through COMPASS, you do not need to submit a paper application.  In addition, if your family household is experiencing a decrease in household income due to current circumstances, please note that you may apply to receive assistance for meals for your student.  For more information and application go to,

    To save you time and effort, the information you provided on your Free & Reduced Price School Meals Application may be shared with other programs for which your child/children may qualify. We must have your permission to share your information with programs that Pine-Richland School District offers at a discounted and/or free and include:
    • AP, PSAT & ACT Testing
    • NCAA Fees
    • Activity Fee
    • Field Trip Fees
    • Other Programs Specific to Each School
    If you have not done so already, please complete this online form to allow the district to share your information for additional discounts or waivers in fees. By completing this form, you will not change the status of your free or reduced-price meals.
