    Pine-Richland vs. Penn Hills Varsity football game is being moved to Oct. 3 to be televised live on the Pittsburgh CW. Details.
    PR Field Hockey Boosters Hosting Dine Out Event
    PR Field Hockey Boosters are hosting a Dine Out event at Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza in Cranberry on Wednesday, Oct. 7. Support Field Hockey and a local business! See the details.
    Cross Country Boosters Hosting 7th Annual Ram Run
    The Ram Run, which originated as a Wexford PTO-hosted event, will be hosted by the Cross Country Boosters this year. This year's event will be virtual from Oct. 12-31. Proceeds will benefit the Cross Country Boosters and a share of the proceeds will also benefit the K-3 PTOs. Registration is open through Oct. 11. See details and register today!
    Support Hance PTO Fundraisers
    Get Your Pumpkins & Support the Hance PTO and a Local Business: Purchase pumpkins at Soergel Orchards on Oct. 9 and 10 and the Hance PTO will receive a $1 donation for every pumpkin purchased. Print the flyer or show it to the cashier from your phone at check out.
    Pick Up & Dine Out Event: On Wednesday, Oct. 14, Panera in Shoppers Plaza in Allison Park will donate 20% to the Hance PTO on all online orders using code PRFUND, including rapid pickup, online takeout orders, and curbside express orders. Dine in from 4-8 p.m., and Panera will make the same 20% donation to the Hance PTO.
    Shoe Drive being held through Nov. 5.

    Paraprofessional Recruitment Opportunity - We Need Your Help!

    Community Youth Sports
    Pine-Richland Youth Field Hockey for Girls in Grades K-6
    Girls in Grades K-6 can pre-register on the Pine-Richland Youth Field Hockey website for a possible program on Sundays in the month of October. Exact dates and times to be determined.
    Pine-Richland Baseball Softball Association Hosting Golf Outing
    The PRBSA is inviting you to their Golf Outing at Birdsfoot Golf Course on Oct. 24. The organization is raising funds to help the association improve field conditions, equipment, and to assist the township in the construction of the new concession stand.     Backyard Sports Coed Flag Football Registration Open
    Registration is now open for the Fall/Winter 2020 Season. All coed flag football Games will be played on Sundays at J. C. Stone turf field in North Park. The tentative start date is Sunday, Nov. 15, through Sunday, Jan. 3. The league will consist of three age groups: 1) 4-8 years; 2) 9-12 years and 3) 13-17 years.     Fall Into Scouting with Pack 179
    Please join Cub Scout Pack 179 as we kick off our new year of fun scouting adventures! Cub Scouting is fun for the whole family. Join us on Oct. 6, 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the American Legion, 3724 Legion Dr., Gibsonia, for games, skits, campfire, and food. Families are invited to stay for a special flag ceremony. Pack 179 is open to K-5 students in the Hance & Richland areas. In Scouting, boys and girls start with their best right now selves and grow into their very best future selves. See flyer.
    BSA Troop 150 Hosting Meeting
    BSA Troop 150 is hosting a fun meeting on Monday, Oct. 12, 7-8:30 p.m. at Bakerstown United Methodist Church, welcoming new Boy Scouts. Scouting focuses on fun, leadership, camping and service. Please contact for additional information.

    Pine Township Cub Scout Pack 344 Signs Ups Starting!
    Pine Township Cub Scout Pack 344 is looking for boys and girls in grades 1-5 interested in joining scouts. The usual meeting location is Salem United Methodist Church (350 Manor Rd, Wexford); but with the current environment, dens will largely be meeting outdoors. Check out their website or contact Melissa Martinez. Note: PRSD includes multiple packs. Pack 344 members are primarily in the Pine Township / Wexford Elementary area but all are welcome to check it out!
