    PRTV Club Hosting Holiday Movie Night!
    The PR Community is invited to movie night hosted by the PRTV Club on December 13 at 5 p.m. in the PRHS Auditorium. Enjoy a free Santa photo opportunity!     PRHS Dance Team Boosters Hosting Clinic for Grades K-8

    Hack the Ram 2020!
    Hack the Ram is a 24-hour invention marathon that will take place on Friday, January 31, from 4-8 p.m. and Saturday, February 1, from 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. at Pine-Richland High School. 
    Participants with any level of programming or hardware experience are invited to collaborate to create a technology project from scratch. The event is open to all 7th-12th graders in the Pittsburgh area. Hack the Ram is completely free for participants and will include dinner on Friday and lunch on Saturday provided by our sponsors, as well as snacks and drinks.     Impactful Grants from PROF Fuel Teacher Passion Projects
    Pine-Richland Opportunities Fund
    It was a grants cycle with wide-ranging student impact for the Pine-Richland Opportunities Fund this fall. The non-profit education foundation, which directly benefits students in the Pine-Richland school district, funded teacher and staff grant projects totaling nearly $47,000 so far this year.
    “We were surprised and delighted by the number and quality of grant submissions we received,” said Deborah Lund, PROF’s executive director. “It was clear that the teachers and staff who submitted applications are extremely passionate about their projects, and PROF’s board was pleased to feed that passion.” 
    Community Youth Sports
    Pine-Richland Youth Lacrosse
    Pine-Richland Youth Lacrosse opened its registration for new and returning players for the 2020 Season on November 4. Registration will close December 14. New and experienced lacrosse players are welcome. This youth organization has dedicated coaches who teach the fundamentals of lacrosse with a focus on sportsmanship and fun!     Pine-Richland Indoor Field Hockey Program
    The Pine-Richland Field Hockey program is accepting registrations for its indoor field hockey program to be held on Tuesdays at the Pine-Richland Youth Center. The program is open to girls in Kindergarten through 12th grade. For more information, go to their website.
