Mr. Brian Glickman was approved as the district’s new director of human resources on August 10, 2020. Mr. Glickman has been serving as the director of talent management for the Pittsburgh Public Schools since 2013 and has been working in the human resources department since 2011. He has served as a leader of recruitment and staffing of the largest school district in western Pennsylvania that serves 4,000+ employees working across 70+ locations. Prior to working in human resources, Mr. Glickman spent nine years in the classroom mainly as a lead early childhood teacher at Pittsburgh Morrow Elementary School. Mr. Glickman is a Society of Human Resources Manager Senior certified professional. He has a Master of Arts in Teaching in Elementary Education from Chatham University and a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies from the University of Pittsburgh.
