The board shall adopt the graduation requirements students must achieve, which shall include course completion and grades, completion of a culminating student project, and satisfactory results of district and/or state assessments aligned with academic standards.

As required by the PA State Board of Education Regulations, proficiency on relevant Keystone Exams will serve as a stand-alone graduation requirement and for state accountability under federal law. Beginning with the Class of 2017, the culminating student project requirement is eliminated.

All students must demonstrate proficiency on the Keystone Exams of Algebra 1, Literature, and Biology. The required culminating student project is embedded in the English curriculum. Beginning with the Class of 2017, the culminating student project requirement is eliminated.

Families should work with guidance counselors to create an individual course of study that best aligns to each student’s future college and career goals.  World Language requirements vary based on the college/university. While not required, it is recommended that all students complete four credits of Math, Science, and Social Studies.
