• Supplemental Instruction

Students who did not score at or above the proficient level on a Keystone Exam are encouraged to participate in supplemental instruction prior to retaking the Keystone Exam. The school must continue to offer supplemental instruction after a non-proficient result either until the student demonstrates proficiency on that Keystone Exam(s) or local assessment.

The structure and delivery of supplemental instruction will be consistent with student’s educational program and will require additional effort through a class, structured study hall/resource period, online program, and/or extended day preparation sessions. Every student who has scored at the non-proficient level will be supported through an IEP or an ILP.
