• Meal Pick-up Procedures

    The 2020-2021 school year will start with some of our students choosing 100% virtual learning and other students learning on site two or three days during the week.  Since Pine-Richland School District participates in the National School Breakfast and Lunch Programs, we have the opportunity to provide meals to our students on days they are not in school.

    Due to a USDA meal waiver, all meals will be free for students until December 2020.

    Some meal options will be cold and ready to eat.  Some meal options will be items that can be heated and then eaten (Pizza, Hamburger).  Heating instructions will be provided in your meal box.  It is very important that if your food is not being cooked or eaten immediately that you store in freezer or refrigerator.  Also, please discard any food left at room temperature for more than 2 hours due to potential food safety risk.  If not eaten within 5 days please discard.  

     

    How will this work for 100% virtual students?

    1. If you are participating you will receive all five breakfast and lunch meals, you will not be able to pick and choose which days you want meals.  Go to pinerichlandsd@sodexomyway.com and view the Meal Pick-up Menu.

    2. Each week by Sunday at 5pm families must complete our meal pick-up survey for each student that is participating in this program. 

    3. The meals will be picked up each Wednesday with the option of two locations, either Pine-Richland High School from 10am-10:30am or Eden Hall Upper Elementary School 1pm-1:30pm.  You will pick up all your student's meals at one location.

    4. You will need to complete another survey for the next week.

    How will this work for AK and LZ day students?

    1. If you are participating you will receive the number of meals that you are learning from home each week.  Some weeks it will be two and some weeks three.  You will not be able to pick and choose which days you want meals.  Go to pinerichlandsd@sodexomyway.com and view Meal Pick-up Options.

    2. Each week by Sunday at 5pm families must complete our meal pick-up survey for each student that is participating in this program.

    3.  The meals pick-up day will vary depending on when your student is in school.  Review the date of pick-up on this link for each weeks pick-up date.  You will have two locations to choose from, either Pine-Richland High School from 10am-10:30am or Eden Hall Upper Elementary School 1pm-1:30pm

    4. You will need to complete another survey for the next week.
