District Welcomes Back 4,610 Students
Pine-Richland School District welcomed students back on August 24, 2017. The district shared its back-to-school guide with families on August. 11, 2017. The guide can be viewed by visiting www.pinerichland.org/backtoschool. This interactive resource allows you to review annual notices and updated policies as well as some new items at PR for 2017-2018:
- The district upgraded its website at www.pinerichland.org. Besides the new look, the site is more mobile friendly and easier to access for those who have visual and auditory impairments. The top of the website has the same category headings. The district website also has a new online curriculum site at www.pinerichland.org/curriculum and athletic site.

- The district’s food service company, Sodexo, is cooking up some new features of its program for the 2017-2018 school year. This year, Sodexo is offering:
- More scratch-cooking products
- More plant-based options
- More fresh products
New App with Menus & Product Info
Families can also view a new interactive menus that will be available via a SchoolCafe App. Families will be able to manage student accounts; access menus with pictures; view product description and nutritional and allergy information.High school students will be able to create a view-only access to see account balance, menu options and nutritional content. The app will allow students to have a voice in shaping future menus, by providing feedback daily on their meals
