• Dear PR parents and community,

I am humbled and honored to be returning for the 2022-2023 school year as Principal of Hance Elementary.  Over the past several years, I had the opportunity to meet and engage with parents, students, community members, and staff on a daily basis within the district at Eden Hall Upper Elementary and now Hance Elementary.  Building relationships with all critical stakeholders is very important to me, and I will continue to work to ensure students learn and grow every day at Hance Elementary.  Working with key stakeholders allows me to feel a sense of pride and motivates me to continually communicate and collaborate in an effort to meet the needs of our students.  As we are about to begin the 2022-2023 school year, I am excited for students to return to Hance and have a successful school year filled with opportunities to increase their personal growth, resiliency, innovation, and engagement.

The mission of Pine-Richland School District is to focus on learning for every student every day.  As an educator and instructional leader, I believe in approaching all situations with a student-centered, team approach.  Doing what is best for children is critically important, and this enables children to grow and excel in all areas.  As we continue through the school year, I hope to continue to add value to the instructional leadership team at Pine-Richland School District through integrating the shared values of personal growth, resiliency, innovation, diverse opportunities, and engagement.

In the future, I am looking forward to working closely with parents, community members, and staff to create an environment at Hance Elementary that promotes the focus on learning for every student every day.  I am dedicated to promoting a positive learning environment for all students and am excited to collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure that student learning is our main focus.

    Sincerely,
    Greta Kuzilla, Ed.D.
    Principal
