Jeffrey Zimmerman
Phone: 724-625-4444, ext. 6750Mr. Jeffrey Zimmerman began serving Pine-Richland School District on February 26, 2019, as the district’s director of facilities management. Most recently, Mr. Zimmerman served as the regional facilities director for CBRE Group, Inc. at 16 art institute locations throughout the Eastern United States. Prior to 2017, he served as the regional facilities manager at Dick’s Sporting Goods, where he oversaw facilities management operations at 163 stores in the Northeast region of the US.
“Mr. Zimmerman has a diverse background in facility management and engineering. He has demonstrated success in the management of capital improvement projects, energy reduction projects, and systems that support day-to-day operations,” said Dr. Brian J. Miller, superintendent. “Through the interview process, Mr. Zimmerman demonstrated his commitment to teamwork and people. We believe his communication, problem-solving, and planning skills will be an asset to Pine-Richland. We look forward to the period of transition with Mr. Zang before his retirement.”
Prior to working for Dick’s Sporting Goods, Mr. Zimmerman was the operations manager for Direct Supply, Inc., in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, from 2003-2005. At Direct Supply, he coordinated the efforts of the company’s informational technology and marketing departments in designing and promoting new product offerings.
He earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Master of Science in Engineering Management from Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla, Missouri; and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the United States Military Academy, West Point, New York.
Through professional development, he has participated in the Six Sigma program, which is a highly disciplined process that helps companies focus on developing and delivering near-perfect products and services.
