  • Song & Dance Highlight PRMS Rendition of ‘Footloose’

    Pine-Richland Middle School students will be taking audience members back to the eighties through the production of “Footloose.” In all, 74 students will take to the stage with lively song and dance numbers. The production will be performed at 7 p.m. on February 7, 8 & 9, 2019. Tickets go on sale starting January 24, 2019.

  • PRMS Re-Designated in 'School to Watch' Program

    Pine-Richland Middle School has been re-designated along with DuBois Area Middle School as Pennsylvania Don Eichhorn Schools: “Schools to Watch” (PA STW) a fourth time in 12 years as part of a recognition program developed by the National Forum to Accelerate Middle-Grades Reform.

  • Geography Bee Winner Named

    Seventh-grader Chris Meyer took first place in the Pine-Richland Middle School Geography Bee, which was held on December 17, 2019, in the PRMS library. Seventh-grader Michael Lattari took second place and eighth-grader Andrew Salvadore earned third place. The annual program was coordinated by PRMS GATE Teacher Kathy Deal and retired PRMS Librarian Kathy Batykefer.

We at Pine-Richland Middle School continue to empower our students to build resilience, which is the ability to adapt well in the face of hard times.   • Students Explore the Physics of Motion

    Students in Pine-Richland Middle School Teacher Brian Kantz’s classroom had the opportunity of participating in a lesson entitled the Physics of Motion. The students worked in groups to figure out how mass was related to a particular variable. Instead of quietly sitting in their seats to solve problems, students had the opportunity to put their studies into action by doing.

    Eighth-grader Erina Fortune earned third place in the 2018 International Online Great Composers Competition. She created a piano piece in the Music of Germany & Austria category.
