In order to introduce the RAMS Way at Hance Elementary, our trained team of teachers explained the behavioral matrix to students on a kick-off day the first Friday in August.  Students rotated with their classrooms and teachers around the building and learned how to follow the RAMS way in the cafeteria, on the bus, in the classroom, in the hallway and restrooms, as well as on the playground.  Students were taught the expectations in each of those areas.  As the year continues, follow up lessons will need to be implemented to reinforce the concepts taught.

Students were also given a RAMS way bracelet to serve as a visual reminder of following the RAMS way in each of those areas.
