Annual Survey Results Available
On an annual basis, the Pine-Richland School District conducts a detailed survey for parents (all grades), staff (all workforce groups), and students (grades 3, 6, 8, and 12). The results of these surveys are used as a source of feedback, satisfaction, and engagement.

Home Access to Close on June 30
This is a reminder that Home Access will close on June 30, 2020. If you would like a copy of your child's electronic report card, please print a copy by 11:59 p.m. on June 30, 2020. The district will be transitioning to a new community portal in August of 2020. More details will be provided in early August.

Board Approves 2020-21 Budget
The Pine-Richland School Board approved the Final General Fund Budget for the 2020-2021 school year in accordance with board policy #604 Budget Adoption with total expenditures of $92,772,751 and total revenues of $92,421,756 with $350,995 of utilization of assigned fund balance, and to establish the following tax rates for the fiscal year 2020-2021. Author Serves as Keynote for LitFest2020
Eden Hall Upper Elementary School kicked off LitFest2020 with Keynote Speaker Nick Courage. The author penned Storm Blown, which is a Junior Library Guild Selection. Nick Courage is a New Orleans-born writer and aspiring skateboarder who splits his time between Brooklyn and Pittsburgh.

While it is definitely hard to believe the first semester has come to an end, the start of the 2nd semester means everyone gets a fresh start to make the next few months the best that it can be. True learning comes from reflecting on past actions and behaviors and then making plans to take a step to the right to ensure significant improvements. Read more in the principal's message.

4th-Graders Learn First-Hand about Advances in Electrical Power Quality & Energy Management
Nearly 400 Pine-Richland School District fourth-graders, who are studying electricity, had the opportunity to visit the Eaton Corporation’s Experience Center on Nov. 26, 2019, and to see a local powerhouse training facility in action, along with 15 teachers and three administrators, as they tackle a science unit on electricity.

Students Treated to Monster Mash
Eden Hall Upper Elementary School students participated in a Monster Mash. The activity was in celebration of the entire school kicking off RAMS Way On Oct. 31. Students were challenged to earn points when they exhibited positive behavior. They met their goal and were treated to a Monster Mash program in which they played games and danced. They had the opportunity to dress up in costume.

Virtual KinderCamp Available
While we will not be able to have large groups of folks coming in for the typical assessments, which occur during KinderCamp in June, we are sharing what we can now through video compilations and links to other resources. We are tentatively planning for a face-to-face KinderCamp experience on Monday and Tuesday, August 3rd and 4th, if conditions permit us to do so safely. We ask that you hold these targeted dates if you are able to do so, understanding that there may be families with conflicting scheduled trips or are otherwise unavailable during that time.
