Pine-Richland School District is currently seeking student-focused individuals to serve as paraprofessionals.
Paraprofessionals at PRSD provide academic, behavioral, and emotional support to students. They work under the direction of the school principal, primarily supporting students with disabilities and/or behavioral needs. They work collaboratively with special education teacher(s) and/or general education teacher(s) to help promote positive outcomes for their assigned group(s) of students.
Paraprofessionals at PRSD are entitled to take full advantage of the school district’s comprehensive benefits program (inclusive of individual or family medical, dental, and vision insurances). These benefits offerings provide significant levels of coverage at a very reasonable cost to the employee. In addition to a starting salary of $13.15/hour, individuals serving as paraprofessionals also receive paid time off and participate in the state's retirement program for public school employees, and are union-represented by the Pine-Richland Education Support Professionals Association.
