PRMS Schedule During Delay/Closing

  • PRMS Grades 7-8

    Dear Pine-Richland Parents and Guardians,

This is an important message for students and parents.  Mr. Minsinger and I want to communicate the learning plans in the event of a weather-related school closure.

    • If there is a two-hour delay, nothing changes from the traditional two-hour delay schedule.  We will delay 2 hours and then transport our students to Pine-Richland Middle School.
    • If there is a closure, we will have school via virtual learning. That schedule will directly mirror the 2-hour delay schedule. The two-hour block at the beginning of the day provides students with additional time to study, complete homework, and make progress on projects. This asynchronous period will allow students to get organized and staff to finalize preparations. Synchronous learning will follow the traditional two-hour delay schedule.

If you are studying via the PRVA+ program, you would also follow the same instructions for delays and closures.
