Our Hance hive is buzzing with excitement! Our holiday shop, which “wraps” up today, was a huge success. Our door decorating contest winners will be announced today and posted here next week. With two more weeks until winter break, we still have time for some extra special moments and a few surprises that we can’t wait to share with you.

Its already December! This month is always one of the busiest months of the school year. You can actually feel the buzz of excitement as you walk through the halls. Our amazing PTO has some fun events planned including Parents’ Night Out and a movie night next week. Our spotlight on education for November had us focusing on bringing the students to the front and center of the lessons.

I hope this letter finds you “busy” relaxing with family or perhaps, out and about in the Black Friday hustle. Earlier in the year, I asked for you to describe Hance in 1-3 words. I took those submissions and generated the attached "Word Cloud". The larger a word is, the more it was mentioned. Be sure to check it out next time you are in our main hall!

November is a time for us to give thanks. I want to take this opportunity to say thank you for the support and encouragement you offer to everyone at Hance. Thank you for allowing us to spend over six hours a day building relationships and academic foundations with your children. We love what we do and we love that we get to do it with you.

Happy Veterans Day to all of the Veterans in our community and beyond. We are grateful for all of the military service members who devoted themselves to the protection of our country.
