Taxes

  • Real Estate Taxes for Richland Township, Pine Township, and Pine-Richland School District are collected by Jordan Tax Service. Current millage rates can be found on the Allegheny County Treasurer's website.
  • Earned Income Tax (.5% of earned income and .5% of net profits) is shared equally between the school district and the township and is collected by Keystone Collections Group.
  • Per Capita Tax ($5 per person for individuals age 18 and older) is collected from residents by Jordan Tax Service on behalf of the school district.
  • Pennsylvania School Code Per Capita Tax, $5 for individuals age 18 and older, is collected from residents by Jordan Tax Service on behalf of the school district.
  • Allegheny County Real Estate Taxes are collected by John Weinstein, County Treasurer. Phone: 412-350-4100.

Note: County and township real estate taxes are levied annually for the calendar year from January 1 - December 31. Pine-Richland School District real estate taxes are levied annually for the fiscal year from July 1 - June 30.

Local Earned Income Tax

Keystone Collections Group initiates the process to identify residents who failed to file a local earned income tax return and/or pay their taxes. Residents will receive notices and tax return forms by mail. Keystone Collections would like to remind taxpayers that they can easily and securely file their return online at efile.KeystoneCollects.com.
