Summer Food Service Program

The SUN Meals/Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) is funded by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and was established in 1968 to respond to growing research that correlated a child's nutrition with academic success and concerns about the lack of nutrition resources for children during the summer months.

Through SUN Meals, children 18 and under can enjoy meals at participating sites this summer. SUN Meals are FREE and help your kids get the nutrition they need all summer long.

Approved site locations are uploaded to the Summer Site Finder annually beginning in mid-May. Throughout the summer, additional sites are added weekly as they are approved.

To file a program discrimination complaint, a Complainant should complete a Form AD-3027, USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form which can be obtained online, from any USDA office, by calling (866) 632-9992, or by writing a letter addressed to USDA. The letter must contain the complainant's name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form (Form AD-3027) or letter must be submitted to USDA by mail, fax or email.
