    The Pine-Richland Varsity Hockey Team earned the Penguins Cupon March 18, 2019, at 8:30 p.m. at the Lemieux Center against Upper St. Clair. They beat Upper St. Clair 7-5.

    The high school and middle school inline teams are competing for the PIHL Class 2 Finals Championship. The high school competes on March 17 at Noon and the middle school on March 16, 2019, at 9 a.m.

    The Pine-Richland High School Boys Basketball Team faced Kennedy Catholic on Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at Slippery Rock University in the second round of the 2019 PIAA 6A Championship Playoffs.

    The Pine-Richland Varsity Hockey Team will play in the Penguins Cup Semifinals on March 13, 2019, at 7 p.m. at Robert Morris Island Sports Complex. They will take on Greater Latrobe.

    The Pine-Richland High School Boys Basketball Team will take on West Lawn Wilson at Milton Hershey at 4:30 p.m. on March 9, 2019, in the first round of the PIAA Playoffs.

  • Junior Qualifies for Wrestling PIAAs

    Nate Lukez qualified for a trip to the Wrestling PIAAs being held in Hershey, PA, on March 7-9, 2019 at the Giant Center. He won four matches at the WPIAL tournament and improved his record to 36 and 5 to place third in the WPIALs.

  • Hockey Team to Play in National Competition

    The PRHS Varsity Team finished in first place with a 18-0-0-1 record in the AA Northwest Division of the PIHL. The team has been selected to attend the USA Hockey Division 1 High School Nationals Tournament in Cleveland March 28-April 1, 2019.

  • Crew Competes in Indoor Championships

    The Pine-Richland Crew team competed at the annual North Allegheny Indoor Rowing Championship on Saturday, February 23, 2019. The Rams were led by Senior Rainier Spears who placed third overall in the Men’s Lightweight Varsity category with a time of 7 minutes and 15 seconds. Junior Ashley Moreland placed second in the Women’s Coxswain 1,000 meter sprint with a time of 4 minutes and 18 seconds.

    Come cheer on the PR Varsity Ice Hockey Team at 7:30 p.m. on March 4, 2019, at the Baierl Ice Complex as they take on Hempfield in the quarterfinals of the Penguins Cup playoffs. Admission is $5.

  • Varsity Wrestling Team Win William Jenkins Duals

    The Pine-Richland High School Varsity Wrestling Team finished the season with 13 wins and four losses. The team won the William Jenkins Duals with a final matchup against Greater Latrobe 42-33. The Individual Section Tournament begins February 23, 2019, at Fox Chapel.

  • Competitive Cheer Team Places 11th at Nationals

    The Pine-Richland High School Competitive Cheerleading Squad placed 11th after earning a bid to nationals. The team traveled to Orlando, FL February 8-10, 2019, and competed in the small varsity and game day divisions.

  • HS Varsity Wrestling Takes a Win & Then a Loss

    The PRHS Boys Wrestling Team defeated Hickory 43 - 27 on February 5th, 2019, on the road. With the victory, the Rams improved their record to 8-3. The Rams returned to action on February 7th, 2019 and took a loss of 21-51 against TJ. Next up, the team travels to Laurel Highlands for duals on Feb. 9, 2019.
