    Home Access

    Middle school students will be able to view the following information on Home Access after 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 14, 2018.

    • Class Schedule
    • Homeroom Assignment
    • Bus Information

    If you have trouble accessing Home Access, please contact Lynn Ross in the main office or Home Access Help. However, if you're locked out of the system due to attempting to log in prior to 4:30 on August 14, you will have to wait a few hours until the lock-out period has ended - unfortunately, we are unable to expedite that process for you.

    Schedules

    Please remember that students have been placed in classes based upon individual educational needs, course requests, class sizes and teacher availability. We will not accept requests for team changes or course changes. However, if you notice an error on your schedule, please contact the Guidance Office at 724-625-3111 (Jennifer Mullaugh, ext. 2229 for students A-K, and Olivia Mastrangelo, ext. 2230 for students L-Z).  See How to Read a PRMS Student Schedule if you have questions.

    Supply List & Dress Code

    Please see the supply lists and review the dress code for your school shopping. 

    Lockers

    Locker information will not be available on Home Access; however, your locker number and combination will be printed on your schedule that you will receive in homeroom the first day of school.  Teachers will be available to assist you with opening your locker.  See How to Open a PRMS Student Locker if you have questions.  If you plan to visit the middle school before the first day of school on one of the designated visitation days, your locker information will be available in the lobby on these dates and times only.  If you’re unable to visit on the specified days, you will receive your locker information the first day of school.  For security reasons, locker numbers and combinations will not be given over the phone.           

    Important Dates to Remember:

    • First Day of School: Thursday, August 23, 2018
    • Parent Night (Meet the Teacher): Wednesday, September 12, 2018
    • Picture Day: Thursday, September 13, 2018 (order forms will be distributed in school)
    • Parent/Teacher Conferences: Thursday and Friday, November 8 and 9, 2018

    Getting Involved at PRMS

    At PRMS there are many ways for students to get involved. If students are considering joining a club and/or playing a sport, be sure to initiate your $100 Activity Fee and/or get a Physical Exam. All information can be found on our website

    Demographic Forms

    In case of emergency, it is important that we have current contact information available. All students will be receiving their demographic forms the first day of school during homeroom and it is imperative that you review and update this information, complete the health section on the back, sign in the space provided, and return the updated form to your homeroom teacher by Friday, August 24, 2018. 

    Acknowledgement Form for Discipline Code/Student Handbook/Acceptable Use of Internet/etc.

    All students will receive an Acknowledgement Form on the first day of school to take home for a parent signature.  Please take the time to review with your child(ren) the PRSD Discipline Code and Acceptable Use of Internet, Computers, and Network Resources on the district’s website, as well as the Student Handbook found in front of your child’s Assignment Notebook.  The signed form is due to your child’s homeroom teacher by Friday, September 7, 2018 and will be kept on file to acknowledge that you have reviewed each document.  

    Free and Reduced Lunch

    Children need healthy meals to learn. To access the application for free and reduced lunches, please visit the Meals & Menus page.  Paper copies can be found in the MS office. You must reapply every new school year

    Photography/Videotaping

    There are often opportunities at the middle school for photographing/videotaping of students. If you do not want your child’s photo to be included in our yearbook, website, etc., please contact the school office; otherwise, we will assume we have your permission to do so.
