    Dr. Melissa Ramirez, secondary school psychologist, is a district school psychologist whose primary focus is for students in grades 7-12.  Dr. Ramirez has been a district school psychologist since 2008. Dr. Ramirez is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a focus in psychology and biology. She received her masters and doctorate degree in school psychology from Duquesne University in December 2011. Dr. Ramirez was a nominee of the Fund It Forward, Making a Daily Difference Award in 2014.  

    Dr. Ramirez is passionate about her work as a school psychologist, demonstrating expertise in mental health, learning, and behavior to help children and youth succeed academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally. Dr. Ramirez provides assessment, support, and intervention services to students; partners with families, teachers, and other professionals to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments; and collaborates with community providers to coordinate services for students.
