- Pine-Richland School District
- Overview
-
The entire strategic plan portion of the website has been updated. The buttons on the left side of the web page review the process of development, structure/content, the four-year plan and current year focus. In addition, we have also updated progress on the strategic plan. Please take a few minutes to review the updated narrative summary of key initiatives and the new “dashboard” update of all action plans. We have a few additional spotlight moments to recognize:
- Dr. Michael Pasquinelli will receive the Pennsylvania Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development (PASCD) Outstanding Curriculum Leadership Award. He will be recognized at the annual conference later next month.
- Three Schools were recognized at the Fourth Annual Healthy Schools Summit. Most recently, we received notice that Hance Elementary School was being recognized by the Healthy Schools Recognition Program for meeting a range of criteria. In addition, Wexford and Eden Hall have also earned this award. There are only 13 schools being recognized in all of southwestern Pennsylvania.
- The Pine-Richland School Board received the 2019 PSBA Innovative Board Award for practices related to strategic oversight and a locally-developed DECIDE model. With that recognition, the board received a $5,000 check that was given to the Pine-Richland Opportunities Fund (PROF).
Thank you again for your commitment and support of the Pine-Richland School District. As a final recognition this month and another example of learning “outside” the classroom, congratulations to the PR Field Hockey team for winning the WPIAL Championship this week!Respectfully,Brian Miller - Dr. Michael Pasquinelli will receive the Pennsylvania Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development (PASCD) Outstanding Curriculum Leadership Award.
