    Biography

    Dr. Joseph Domagala has served as assistant principal of Eden Hall Upper Elementary School since July, 2010. Prior to serving in an administrative capacity, Dr. Domagala was a Business Education teacher for four years at Pine-Richland High School teaching courses that included marketing, international business, personal finance, and computer applications.  In 2009, Dr. Domagala was named Business & Computer Applications Department Co-Chairperson for the Pine-Richland School District. He also served as the high school’s co-founder and co-sponsor of the Future Business Leaders of America Organization and co-sponsor for the Class of 2011.  Prior to coming to PRSD, Dr. Domagala served as a long-term substitute and student teacher in the North Hills School District. He taught accounting 1 and business management courses and sponsored the Future Business Leaders of America club.

    Since 2009, Dr. Domagala has served as an adjunct instructor of Information Systems Management at Duquesne University teaching both graduate and undergraduate courses in the University’s Palumbo/Donahue School of Business.

    Before entering the educational system, Dr. Domagala worked as a staff auditor for Ernst & Young LLP. There, he analyzed technical application programs, operating systems, databases and overall technology environments helping to determine compliance with industry regulations. He also maintained communication between all levels of client and firm management.

    Dr. Domagala received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Duquesne University in 2001, graduating as Summa Cum Laude.  In 2003, Domagala received his master’s in Business Administration with high honors, again from Duquesne University. He received his teaching certification from Robert Morris University in 2004 and in 2006 earned his Master of Science in Business Education with highest honors from Robert Morris University. In 2009, he received his principal K-12 certification from California University of Pennsylvania. In 2017, Dr. Domagala completed his doctorate in Educational Leadership from Creighton University.  He is certified with a Letter of Superintendent Eligibility in the State of Nebraska and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
