Student musicians from Pine-Richland, Avonworth, Fox Chapel, Hampton, North Allegheny, North Hills, Northgate, Riverview and Shaler participated in the 71st annual Allegheny Valley Honors Band festival on January 17, hosted at Pine-Richland High School by music teachers Mr. Will Guess and Mr. Jim Stillwagon.

Twelve Pine-Richland High School students proved they could hold their own in the courtroom and recently captured first place in the University of Pittsburgh’s Cathedral Classic Mock Trial Tournament.

Pine-Richland High School's production of The Holiday Channel Christmas Movie Wonderthon earned six awards and 13 nominations in the 5th Annual Prime Stage Theater High School Drama Awards presented on January 11.

More than 70 recent Pine-Richland High School graduates and retirees returned to school on December 20 for the school’s annual Past Graduates and Staff Day.

The Pine-Richland School Board approved the 2025-2026 Academic Calendar at their December 16, 2024, combined meeting.

Pine-Richland High School Student Government Association led the district in its annual Stuff-a-Bus toy drive, collecting toys for 96.1 KISS FM's Stuff-a-Bus event and helping the radio station fill a record 82 buses with toys.

For the sixth time since 2006-2007, Pine-Richland Middle School has been redesignated in the Pennsylvania Don Eichhorn Schools: Schools to Watch program.

All proposals must be submitted no later than 10:00 AM on Tuesday, February 4, 2025. All proposals should be delivered in a sealed envelope and addressed to the Pine-Richland School District and be clearly marked: Food Service Management Proposal.
